Message From Principal, Sarah O'Leary |
We are excited to share with you some staffing changes for next year. Please welcome the following staff members to the Proctor School as we support their transition to a new position and educational setting.
Although there may not be changes on each grade level team, I have included the team configurations for each grade level for your knowledge.
Grade 4
Mrs. Lyndsay Lantz
Mrs. Doreen Kelleher
Mrs. Meghan Kleinpeter
Ms. Julie Scott
Grade 5
Mrs. Kristen Nicholson
Mrs. Kim Boucher
Mrs. Lena Madden
Mr. Nate Wentworth
Grade 6
Mrs. Sara DeOreo
Ms. Lynne Strobl
Mrs. Suzanne Obuchowski
Mrs. Karen Nawoichik
Curriculum Integration Specialist - Mrs. Paula Klipfel
Library Media Specialist Intern - Mrs. Katie DeFrank
For the 2012-2013 school year, the structure of the sixth grade team will be 2 teams of two. Mrs. DeOreo and Ms. Strobl will work together as a team. The other team will consist of Mrs. Obuchowski and Mrs. Nawoichik. Reflections of students' needs and learning styles, curriculum design and teacher content expertise were considered when making this decision.

Steward Station is now accepting registrations for our Before/After School Programs and Kindergarten Activity Day Program for the 2012-2013 school year. Our Before and After School programs offer age appropriate activities, homework time, physical activities, and the opportunity to socialize within the classroom areas. The before school program is open from 7AM to 8:30AM Monday through Friday. The after school program is open 3PM to 6PM Monday through Friday. Our Kindergarten Activity Day program is an alternate day program to complement the three day Steward School kindergarten curriculum. Our program combines fun and learning in a relaxed atmosphere. This program is open from 8:45AM to 3PM on Monday, and Thursday. In addition to the above programs we offer drop-in service and early release day services. We offer a 10% multi child discount for families that have 2 more children using our programs.
Our mission is to provide safe, accessible and affordable programs. Our intent is to provide a community based enrichment program that does not attempt to replace home or school, but complements both. Workshop: Getting Clear about your Personal Requirements!
June 18, 7 - 9 pm
Library Meeting Room
Our 'personal requirements' are that checklist of items that are the deal breakers in any situation. They are the 'must have' list that we check in with when we are in the process of making important decisions about everything from jobs to relationships to purchases and vacations (and much more!). The problem is, most of us don't know the extent of our personal requirements until they are not being met-and all too often we are in deep before we find that out! Come to this workshop with paper and pen and start to get familiar with that hidden list of your own personal requirements; never again ask yourself the questions "How did this happen?" or "Why didn't I see that coming?"
Deb Silke, a professionally practicing Intuitive, will be leading the workshop. You may contact Deb at 978-902-7001, info@DebSilke.comand also learn more by visiting her website at www.DebSilke.com.
