NEW DEPARTURES

This year has been one of changes, exciting adventures and the discovery of a long-forgotten passion I had many years ago. Here's an update.

FASHION FENG SHUI in TORONTO and KINGSTON

I have enjoyed expanding recently out to Toronto and Kingston,
both in workshops and consultations. Had the privilege of consulting a high-end fashion boutique in Kingston; I look forward to offering workshops there in Fashion Feng Shui.

These seminars are unique as they combine the much sought-after information about feng shui with practical staging tools for increased home sales.

FENG SHUI IN ECUADOR

Last winter I visited Ecuador a second time.

As usual this lovely and diverse country was full of colour, dynamic

energy and inspirational sights.

A trip into the Amazon, a new departure for me, was exciting. The experience of various shamanic rituals offered an alternative approach to creating positive energy fields, as with environmental feng shui.

It was reaffirming to see how universal feng shui principles are.

WEAVING A STORY

While in Ecuador I attended a weaving workshop in Cuenca. To my surprise, I tapped into a stream of creative expression which I never knew I had; I had such fun weaving that I did so every day for 4 weeks!

Upon returning to Canada I was amazed to find an appreciative audience for my work, people who have encouraged me with their positive comments and who actually wish to buy. But the most important aspect of all this is that I love doing it.

As an added plus, I find my woven items can be used as feng shui enhancements for the home.

Do you need some 'fire' energy for added passion and enthusiasm? A red fluffy cushion for your couch could be the answer!

Lusting after a bit of elegant 'metal element' energy for your latest outfit? A soft luxurious baby alpaca scarf in grey tweed with black jet beads might be for you.

I am in the process of creating a collection of luxury woven scarves and throws for anyone who values unique one-of-a-kind items. Let me know if you are interested.

NEWS HOT OFF THE PRESS:

Two of my scarves have been accepted as 'fibre art' in the respected juried Art in the County show from June 29 - July 15th. If you are in Prince Edward County, you are invited to come and enjoy the show at Books & Co, Main Street, Picton.
