TJS MUSIC PROGRAM . . .

The TJS Chorus will make its debut singing as special guests with the Southern Delaware Choral Society at its annual Christmas concert, A Newborn Child: Cantatas and Carols for Christmas. The program is comprised of Baroque Cantatas (with string ensemble and soloists) and traditional carols in which the TJS chorus members will perform.

The program will be performed at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Seaford on Saturday, December 13, at 7:00 p.m., and at St. Edmond's Roman Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach on Sunday, December 14 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for students. Please call 302-645-2013 to reserve tickets.

Best wishes to the four I-2 TJS Chorus members who will be auditioning for Junior All-State Chorus this Saturday. Brenna Gause, Sarah Jones, Amett Medina Lima and Nicole Viscount have been working very hard all fall preparing solos, a quartet and practicing sight singing to get ready for these difficult auditions. Good luck to our students!

A BIG THANK YOU . . .

To Greg Kelly for leading an engaging Bridge Building Workshop. Over 20 students attended from four different schools. They learned the science and math behind bridge building. Many thanks also to Sue Kelly, Anna, Zoe, and Jack Kelly and their grandfather, John Kelly who helped in planning, setup, photography, lunch and recess.

2008-09 ANNUAL GIVING UPDATE . . .

Congratulations to our Executive Board of Directors who have 100% participation in contributions to our Annual Giving Campaign!
