Textile Artist Nancy Hoskins Shares the Ancient Inspiration Behind Her Modern Creations   
     
On a narrow street lined with colorful sidewalk shops, the Egyptian Textiles Museum is an open-air delight for visitors. Countless textile treasures are tucked away in the galleries of the Egyptian Museum including the fabulous Tunic of Tutankhamun. The textile exhibits in the Coptic Museum have been repaired and the renovated Islamic Museum has reopened. Another must for textile lovers is the Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Center in nearby Giza.

New Information about Khonsu Temple's History Emerging through ARCE Conservation Work  

Ray Johnson, director of the Epigraphic Survey at Chicago House, talks about discoveries at Khonsu Temple that alter our understanding of its history. Khonsu Temple, located in the Karnak Temple complex, has always been known to be composed entirely of reused blocks. Now as part of ARCE's project there, an exciting new chapter is being added....
