| SWIM LESSONS | |
 Registration is underway for youth swimming lessons at the Northern Neck YMCA. Lessons are taught at the Y's indoor pool on Monday and Wednesday nights at 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00pm. Children are grouped by age; 3-5 year olds and 6-12 year olds. Each class is 30 minutes and runs September 5 through September 26. The cost is $26 for members and $42 for others. Register now! Registration is underway for YMCA Youth Flag Football. Youth Football is one of the fastest growing youth sports in the country. YMCA Flag Football encourages skill development and education of the game while promoting sportsmanship, character development and team play. Cost is $50 for members and $75 for others. Flag Football, for ages 4-7, begins September 10. |

| WALK IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF HISTORY | |

 A 4-day history-filled adventure!
Join the Northern Neck and Mathews Family YMCA on a joint trip to tour the historic Gettysburg Battlefields. Along the way, Lieutenant Colonel Chamberlain and General Longstreet (as portrayed by Northern Neck's Executive Director, Mark Favazza) will visit with us.
Participants depart Thursday, September 20 at 10am from the Northern Neck YMCA and return Sunday, September 23 around 4pm. The transportation will be provided by a YMCA mini-bus or you may choose to follow along in your own vehicle. Cost is $400.
Included in the tour are hotel stay, 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, and all entrance fees to battlefields, museums and guide costs. Register at the Northern Neck Family YMCA, 39 William B. Graham Court Kilmarnock. For more information call the Y at 435-0223. |
