Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Susan Johnson is teaching Level II Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes on Tuesdays from 6:45-7:45 pm at the Y during the month of October.  A Saturday class will also be offered, October 3 at 10:15 am. 
 
Challenge your body while nurturing your spirit in this class that integrates breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility, stillness and joy. For those with a foundation in yoga and a degree of strength, stamina and flexibility that allows for refinement.
 
The classes are free to Y members or non-members can purchase a day pass for $10.
Festival of Trees

Attend Festival of the Trees Friday through Sunday, December 4-6, and walk into a winter wonderland of trees and other holiday decorations, all donated by the community and on display for silent auction.

This event (our 12th annual!) begins Friday evening with our Lighting of the Trees party, continues all weekend long with activities for everyone in your family and is one of the largest fundraisers to benefit our Guardian Program.

Coffeehouse    

Coffee HouseA YMCA Coffeehouse is planned for Friday, November 13, 7:00-10:30 pm at the Lancaster Playhouse in White Stone.
 
Join us for a relaxed evening of live music performed by talented local artists!  Tickets are $15.00 and include snacks, coffee, soft drinks and a cash bar.  Open Mic from 9:30-10:30.  Pictured to the right is Wes Charlton, performing at a previous Coffee House.

We are now using Twitter to get urgent messages out to our members quickly. Click on the link below to join us now.  It's FREE and requires no personal information except your name e-mail address or phone number.  When you choose to "Follow Us" you'll receive urgent YMCA alerts as a text message and/or email to your phone or computer - ultimately saving you time, effort and gasoline. 

 

 

 
 
 


Win One of Three Fabulous Vacations!
