2009 Bright Beginnings a HUGE Success!
 101 local children will start this school year with a Bright Beginning thanks to many in our community. Thank you to the 40 wonderful volunteers who helped pick out clothes and boost self confidence. Thank you to the 20 incredible Wal-Mart employees who made everyone's shopping experience easier with all of their helping hands. Thank you to the 15 YMCA staff who always step up to the plate with a smile and loads of encouragement for both the children and volunteers. And thank you to the generous donors without whom this worthwhile and rewarding project would not be possible.

Swim Lessons
 September swim lessons are scheduled. The lessons are Monday and Wednesday evenings. Pike/Eels swim at 5:00pm. Ray/Starfish swim at 5:30pm.
Cost is $20 for members $50 for program participants. Registration for the Sept 14-Oct 7 session opens September 1. Hurry and register today, in person at the YMCA or online by visiting our website. Spaces are very limited! |

- Can you swim 50 yards without stopping and have the fitness level to continue after resting?

Home School Fitness
Children learn physical fitness and health in a fun environment while promoting positive relationships with peers and building self-esteem. This is a great way for your children to socialize in a group setting with other kids their age. Let us show your children ways to a happier and healthier tomorrow.
Session runs September 15 - November 3, Tuesdays from 12:30-1:30pm. Cost is $7 Members/$27 Program Participants.
