Born in Vienna, Austria, Bill Calloway was raised at military locations in the U.S. and Europe. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Pennsylvania State University in 1976. Bill started working for Nestle Purina PetCare Co., formerly Ralston Purina Company, in 1976. He moved forward in the organization, holding many different positions, in six different plant locations. In 1996, Calloway was named Plant Manager at Flagstaff's facility.

Bill and his wife Lois have been married for thirty -six years, have three children, Brian, Kris, Elissa and one grandson.

"Lois and I feel fortunate that we have been a part of this community and feel we need to give back to those less fortunate. It has been my experience here in Flagstaff that businesses are concerned with the well-being of all citizens of northern Arizona and many contribute long hours to organizations that promote the well-being of all who live and work here. United Way of Northern Arizona is recognized for its honesty and integrity in dealing with donations and people in need of help.  United Way is an organization that has been helping for a lot of years and will be here in the future to continue with their work of helping all who need a hand up."

Bill is an involved community member: Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce Board Member and Committee Chair, Flagstaff YMCA Founding Committee Member, Flagstaff Rotary Member, United Way of Northern Arizona Board Vice-Chair, Northern Arizona Renewable Energy Group Board Member, Flag Forty Executive Board Member and Greater Flagstaff Economic Council Past Chairman.

United Way of Northern Arizona's Board of Directors is comprised of community members responsible for governing United Way of Northern Arizona.
