In honor of May is Better Hearing Month, a series of events will take place at the store which are outlined on the flyer below.

For those who cannot attend the bookfair at this location, you can still participate in the fundraiser in three ways by using the voucher above:

3rd Annual DHH Teen Day Conference |
| |
 |
Tuesday, May 5 On Tuesday, May 5, 100 deaf and hard of hearing teenagers will gather on our campus to attend the 3rd Annual DHH Teen Day Conference. The purpose of this event is to introduce DHH teenagers to community resources and technology available to them as they transition from high school to emerging adulthood. They will also have the opportunity to interact with DHH adult role models who have overcome their own hearing loss to build successful personal and professional lives. The deadline to RSVP is Thursday, April 23. RSVP to Rebecca Novinger at rebecca.novinger@uch.edu.
Volunteers Needed!
The Teen Day Conference is packed with presentations, group sessions, and outdoor activities. We need as many volunteers as possible to ensure the program runs smoothly. The more, the merrier! In order to be more organized, we ask for a minimum of a half day (7:30am-12:30pm or 12:30-4:30pm) commitment. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Rebecca Novinger at rebecca.novinger@uch.edu. |

Auction Items Needed for Wine and Chocolate Gala
The Wine and Chocolate Gala is our largest annual fundraiser. All proceeds from ticket sales, private donations, and auction items support the programs and services of the MDHC. Last year, the event produced $30,000 of support!
We are now collecting auction items for this year's Gala, held on Thursday, June 4. Items can include: Sporting event tickets; arts and crafts; restaurant gift certificates; jewelry; gift baskets; services; travel vouchers; hotel gift certificates; ski resort packages; etc. Your contribution of an auction item would be a tax-deductible donation. We will collect all auction items by Monday, June 1.
