BUSINESS

Ignore Management Details & Lose Profits
Our in-depth coverage of the 2011 Jewelers of America Cost of Doing Business Report continues with a spotlight on high- and low-profit income statement measures. Low-profit does not mean low sales volume.

LEGISLATION & REGULATION

Get Politically Savvy at the JA New York Winter Show
Prior to the 2012 elections, Congress will grapple with issues that could impact the jewelry industry, like sales tax fairness. Join JA Associate Director of Public Affairs Susan Posnock at the JA New York Winter Show, as she leads a panel discussion on key legislative issues the industry is facing and how jewelers can speak out. The session is Monday, January 23 at 4:15pm. See seminar program.
