Greetings!
Students are starting to assemble on campus - there is much excitement about the upcoming school year here at Haas-Berkeley.
In collaboration with Berkeley-Haas' CEE, the Executive MBA Program at Korea University Business School (KUBS), and Haas faculty and staff, we had a very successful program with the Korea University Business School this July. Fifty-five students came from Korea to study leadership and management for three classroom days and one day of corporate benchmarking visits.
Haas will also be hosting a group of senior managers from City University of Hong Kong at the end of this month. We will keep you posted!
I'd also like to encourage you to approach companies in Asia and in the U.S. because it's a great time for them to get involved in our Founding Corporate Membership Program. The program allows companies to give in tiers ($100K -
$50K - $25K), and in return, get many benefits for free like executive
education at Berkeley for their employees, Haas-Berkeley professor consulting
time, seats at our conferences, etc. Because this program is new, companies who
join now get a really great value. Please scroll down this newsletter for more information.
Lastly, I'd like to welcome Jenny Chan, CEO of Lippo Securities, in Hong Kong as our latest Advisory Board member. You can read below for more info on her.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Laura or myself. We welcome your feedback.
Sincerely,
Teck Ho Director, Asia Business Center

The Corporate Membership Program!
Our Founding Corporate Membership Program allows companies to benefit from the many educational and advisory programs the Asia Business Center offers, including employee training, conference attendance, professor consulting hours, and much more.
There are three tiers of giving - diamond, gold, and blue. With each tier comes different benefits.
If you work for a company who is interested, or know people at other companies who would greatly benefit from this program, let us know and we will send you hard-copy brochures.
