Y-AXIS TOOLING |
 MD Tooling offers tooling that allows the user to get the most out of their Y-Axis machine! Our holders, both live and static, allow up to 8 tools in one turret station. This is great for complex parts that require a large number of tools. You also have the benefit of tooling up for multiple jobs and save hours of set up time.
A second advantage of using our Y-axis holders, is faster cycle times. With less indexing, you will have a faster cycle time. It may only take .2 seconds to index one station - most of the time you need to index more than just one. This adds cycle time !
A third advantage is much less wear and tear on your turret. Fewer indexes per part would mean less indexing thoughout the year. If you had a 10-tool job in 4 or 5 turret stations, you would index less than half as many times as with standard toolholders. That adds up at the end of the year ! |
