You Don't Have to be

Jewish to Love JLTV...

"I am a Christian -- but I absolutely LOVE your station!  I watch Bodies in Motion with Gilad in the morning. The Goldbergs were new to me.  I had never seen it before and it is so great!  I love stopping at your station and really enjoy learning about the Jewish culture."

                                           - E.A., Medford, MA, Comcast

"I am a devout "Cradle Catholic" loving your network so much.  JLTV feels like home. I enjoy wholesome entertainment and the direct, no-nonsense honesty of the Jewish people."

                                      - G.K., Punta Gorda, FL, DirecTV

"The Goldbergs have brought all the happy stories my mother always told us about the show.  I grew up in a very Italian Catholic household but The Goldbergs was the favorite show and my whole life, my mom always spoke about this show.  Thank you so much."

                      - J.G., Staten Island, NY, Time Warner Cable

"I enjoy watching the documentaries and movies shown on your channel very much, even though I'm not Jewish myself."

                                              - A.C., Lake City, FL, DirecTV

Jewish History

... brought to you by the JLTV News Department

On this day, April 18, 1964 ...

Sandy Koufax Koufaxbecame the first pitcher in Major League Baseball history to strike out the side in nine pitches.  The following season, Koufax became a hero to many Jews around the world when he refused to pitch during a 1965 World Service game that fell on Yom Kippur.  The Los Angeles Dodgers went on to win that series 4-3 against the Minnesota Twins and Sandy Koufax was named "Most Valuable Player" for the event.
