JLTV to Air Eichmann Trial Series
50 Years Later
JLTV is proud to announce that the network has just acquired all 400 hours of the trial of notorious Nazi War Criminal, Adolph Eichmann. In 1961, the news media, both in America and around the world, covered this historic trial on nearly a daily basis. In the coming months, America's Chosen Network will present the world premiere of "The Trial of Adolph Eichmann", a series of 13 one-hour programs culled from this epic footage, produced by JLTV in cooperation with Yad Vashem, American Society of Yad Vashem, and the Israel State Archives. JLTV is providing Americans, Canadians and viewers around the world with a reality check on the dark days of the Holocaust and its impact on today's humanitarian challenges.

... brought to you by the JLTV News Department On this day, April 11, 1961 ... The trial of Adolph Eichmann on charges of genocide begins in Jerusalem. Considered the mastermind of the mass deportation and extermination of European Jews, Eichmann had been captured by Israeli Mossad agents in Argentina on May 11, 1960. After fourteen weeks of testimony, Eichmann was convicted of war crimes and on May 31, 1962, he was executed. Adolph Eichmann remains the only individual to have received the death penalty in the State of Israel. |
