For Your Consideration...

JLTV's groundbreaking, live broadcast of the March of the Living is currently under Emmy consideration by the National Academy of Television Arts & Science. For its adoption of "Live U" video-to-cellular technology, JLTV's coverage of this powerful 2010 event is receiving consideration under the category "New Approaches to News & Documentary Programming: Current News Coverage."

The first Maccabiah Games were held in Tel Aviv.  During the opening ceremony, 120 carrier pigeons - 10 pigeons for each of the 12 tribes of Israel - were released.  Approximately 390 athletes from 14 countries participated in the competition. In 2009, JLTV covered the 18th Maccabiah games, where over 9,000 athletes from 55 countries participated.
