WNBA President Donna Orender Joins JLTV Board of Governors
Donna Orender, President of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and one of the nation's leading sports executives, has joined JLTV's Board of Governors. Ms. Orender presides over the WNBA league which consists of 12 teams: Atlanta, Chicago, Connecticut, Indiana, Los Angeles, Minnesota, New York, Phoenix, San Antonio, Seattle, Tulsa and Washington, DC. She was formerly the Senior Vice President of the PGA (Professional Golf Association). Donna played three seasons in the Women's Professional Basketball League (WBL) and was acclaimed as an All-Star player. Donna is a graduate of Queens College in New York where she was an All-American basketball player. Her illustrious career began in television production first with ABC Sports and then with the Sports Channel. She joined the WNBA in 2005 with an impressive basketball history and a true passion for the game. She also was Co-Chair of the American team in the 16th Maccabiah Games in Israel. Donna will assist in advising America's Chosen Network in its continuing outreach to sports enthusiasts and in promoting the values and ideals of sports for the Jewish Community.
