Sophisticated Israel to Air on JLTV

Chances are you've been to Israel. And chances are you've been moved, inspired, enthused and excited. You're not alone. The last two years were the best years EVER for tourism to Israel, and 2010 is looking like it may be an all-time record. Yes, all these millions of tourists and friends are coming to Israel to be inspired by the Land known as both Promised and Holy. But there's another reason they're coming too. Because Israel has developed into one of the world's hippest travel destinations. The New York Times recently characterized Tel Aviv as "the capital of Mediterranean cool." Israel boasts more museums per capita than any country on earth...an extraordinary wealth of highly acclaimed restaurants whose chefs fuse international trends with Israeli ingenuity...a wave of hot new boutique hotels and inns...world-class shopping...a panoply of activities from golf to hang-gliding to rappelling to hiking to watching the sunset as you nurse a Mojito on a sofa on the beach...and a buzz that is utterly incomparable. Israel is 62. Israel has grown up. And you're invited to see Sophisticated Israel in person and on JLTV's weekly series of the same name. Production is underway this week at various and intriguing places across Israel. These are the new places to be and be seen! JLTV and the Israel Ministry of Tourism are joining forces to bring to America, Canada and to countries around the world the new and Sophisticated Israel. "The Israel Ministry of Tourism looks at our joint project with JLTV as a positive and productive approach to presenting Israel's new and exciting attractions," commented Arie Sommer, Commissioner, Israel Ministry of Tourism, North and South America, "and it gives us a platform to millions of potential new travelers to Israel in a way that touches all generations and backgrounds."
