JLTV Is Pleased To Announce Its Newest School Judaica Program: The Miracle Project!
Set to begin production in the Spring of 2010, The Miracle Project! will be a half-hour original series created to
assist parents, rabbis, and educators.
This unique TV program will focus on children with autism, helping them
to affirm their Jewish identity and preparing them for a memorable and positive
Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience.
Based on the method created by acting coach Elaine Hall, in conjunction with Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services in Los Angeles, the project will offer tools and resources for interested JLTV families. For some children this might mean learning to say one prayer (i.e. the shema) or using sign language. For others it could be learning the Torah blessings using a visual board or by typing into a talk machine. For some of our JLTV families School Judaica may be the only resource in their community to connect with, and provide their children with a special Jewish education. JLTV will provide supplemental materials, downloads, and resources on our website. America's Chosen Network will produce 18 episodes of The Miracle Project!, which will air weekly on JLTV. The series will also be packaged as a DVD set. For information on this series contact Lori Farkas at by clicking here.
NOTE: Today JLTV launched on Comcast in South Florida in the Davie area on channel 239. Comcast serves nearly 25 million cable customers across America and serves other markets like Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington DC, Baltimore, Atlanta, Detroit, Denver, Houston, San Francisco and Seattle.
