Broadcast Chanukah Programming Daily
Between
November 29 and December 18
For
the third consecutive year, JLTV will celebrate the holiday of Chanukah with
music, stories, and special features.
JLTV's Chanukah programming begins on November 29 through December 18.
Hollywood celebrities will present their personal thoughts and comments about
the Jewish holiday. The Angel City
Chorale conducted by Sue Fink, will perform songs including I Have A Little Dreidel, Hanerot Halalu,
Eight Days and Y'mei Chanukah. Jason Alexander narrates short
biographies on JLTV's Chanukah heroes.
Wolfgang Puck prepares his very own version of potato pancakes (latkes), one of the traditional holiday
foods. Ed Asner, Emmy
award-winning actor, will read an unusual American story about George
Washington and Chanukah. JLTV's
Chanukah programming also airs over Armed Forces Television to men and women
serving on bases, Navy ships, along with embassies and consulates around the world. For your enjoyment we have included the
Angel City Chorale singing a special doo-wop rendition of
