Allan Kass Appointed JLTV Senior VP, Sales & Marketing

JLTV is pleased to announce the appointment of Allan Kass to oversee marketing and sales efforts for the worldwide network. Allan has 25 years experience in advertising sales at local, national and network levels working for Metromedia, Tribune, Turner, USA and Time Warner Cable. His expertise led him into the field of sports sales and promotions with Olympic coverage on ABC along with Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers and California Angels. He orchestrated the first NBA tie-in with a studio theatrical; pairing the NBA Playoffs and Paramount Pictures Mission Impossible to a record breaking May 1997 opening, followed closely by Paramount's Deep Impact and a similar tie-in with the Universal release The Mummy. Allan began his career with CBS Records where his responsibility included sales forecasting, materials purchasing and finished goods inventory for every new release and catalog item across all CBS labels.
An Emotional Email Connecting JLTV With Transylvania

Upon a recent visit to Romania, I ventured to the province of Transylvania to see the legendary Dracula's Castle. Although Transylvania was once home to a large Jewish community and seat of learning (the Satmar Rebbe and Elie Wiesel both hail from there) the current Jewish population is extremely small. Unfortunately there may be more vampires than Jews in Transylvania nowadays. However, those that are still there, those that are not Jewish but supporters of Israel and the Jewish people, and those who are visiting there, like myself, are able to watch Jewish Life TV on AKTA cable satellite service in Transylvania. It was incredible watching television portraying the Jewish people positively in a country where Jews suffered so much during World War II at the same time I gazed upon Dracula's Castle from my hotel window. If you don't believe in miracles still happening nowadays, JLTV may change you mind, as it did mine.
