Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur Services
to Air on JLTV
Highlights
of Temple of the Arts' (templeofthearts.org) Yom Kippur Services will be
broadcast on JLTV. The synagogue's
founder and spiritual leader Rabbi David Baron commented, "we are honored to
produce a unique and inspirational Kol Nidre (Sunday evening September 27) and
Yizkor (Monday, September 28) Memorial Service for World Jewry, many who are
unable to get to synagogue. We will air our special programs on America's
only 24/7, full-time, Jewish network. The synagogue's services are held at
the newly remodeled, art deco Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. Temple of
the Arts features cantors Jordan Bennett and Ilysia Pierce, both of whom have
starred on Broadway (Le Miserables and
Beauty and the Beast). In
addition, its LA Opera and Master Chorale Choir is led by Music Director and
film composer, Sharon Farber. Temple of the Arts is the largest arts and
entertainment industry synagogue in the United States. Rabbi Baron has
invited inspirational guest speakers and artists including Hillary Clinton to
address the congregation. The
Secretary of State is a featured speaker on the broadcast discussing
"forgiveness" in her life experience. Several Hollywood celebrities will be
participating in the services. JLTV can be seen on channel 366 on DIRECTV
as well as various Time Warner, Comcast and independent cable systems. The
network can be seen in all 50 states and 47 countries around the world along
with reaching over one million men and women stationed on bases and navy ships,
