Igal Hecht, JLTV Producer, to Focus on
Human Interest Stories at Maccabiah Games
Based in Canada, prolific and respected documentarian Igal Hecht will be producing human-interest stories on athletes participating in the 18th Maccabiah Games, which begin broadcasting on Sunday, July 12th across America and Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Reaching over 100 million homes globally, the Maccabiah Games broadcast is being anchored by Olympic and Maccabiah Gold Medalist, Mitch Gaylord, along with Brad Pomerance (line-producer), Roxanne Mehrian (operations), Steve Grad (commentator), Keren Ahroni (commentator), Todd Segal (editor), James Grant (editor), Lior Cohen (camera), Oren Reich (camera), Sam Licker and Yoni Ben-Naim (youth commentators), along with JLTV's Israel-based crew. JLTV and IBA (Israel Broadcasting Authority) will team up for Live coverage of the Opening Ceremony on Monday, July 13.

Weekly Live Basketball Games From Israel scheduled for Broadcast on JLTV
Beginning on October 4th and running through the end of May, JLTV, " The Worlds Chosen Network," is planning to broadcast, every Sunday, one of the main basketball games from Israel's "Super League" competition. The three-hour weekly sports special will be broadcast Live with English commentary at noon, Eastern Time and rebroadcast at 4:00 PM.

JLTV to Host International
Golf and Tennis Tourney in Las Vegas
As an extension of its commitment to involve its audience in sports, JLTV has organized a Golf and Tennis Tournament to be held in Las Vegas, March 12 -15, 2010. Plans are to hold the event at the Las Vegas Country Club, which is a historic landmark of the Jewish community of the area. The JLTV International Golf and Tennis Tournament will attract participants from around the world.
