With the addition of various satellite and cable and systems, JLTV will be reaching over 100 million homes across America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East launching many of the systems with the opening of the Maccabiah Games, July 12th through July 24th. The Opening Ceremonies will be televised on Monday, July 13th.
JLTV's on-air and production staff includes anchor and Olympic gold medalist Mitch Gaylord, NBC and Olympics producer Dave Michaels, CBS radio (KNX) sportscaster Steve Grad and newscaster Brad Pomerance. Keren Aroni, along with Igal Hecht (JLTV's lead Canadian producer) will add their perspective.
The key focus, along with the competition results will be centered around intriguing human-interest stories, including 54-year old identical twins from Melbourne, Australia, Judy Kohn and Raie Moss, who will be participating in their seventh Maccabiah Games. Judy has participated in javelin and marathon, while Raie ran in the four x 400 meter relay. Both also ran cross-country.
