JLTV to Debut Francky Perez's New Music Video Filmed in Cuba
Within the next 45 days, JLTV will begin broadcasting on a 24/7 basis to over 100 million homes across America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. This international flavor and outreach is exemplified by the just completed music video, starring Israeli singer Candela. Filmed in and around Havana, Cuba, a Latin/Salsa version of Hava Nagila has been brilliantly packaged by Francky Perez. His talent was displayed in last year's popular music video of Hatikvah, broadcast on JLTV. Beginning in September, Francky will host a half-hour program on Jewish topics every Sunday in French on JLTV. For the first time in years, a Jewish song, in this case renamed Havana Guila, was recorded in Cuba. Thousands of Cuban Jews now live in South Florida and across America. Several thousand Jews are still living in Havana and Santiago Cuba.
This new twist on one of the most popular Jewish songs will be broadcast beginning this week on the world's Jewish television channel. Enjoy Havana Guila by clicking onto the image below.
