Greetings!

Are you interested reducing county expenses? Are you concerned with the loss of open space and agricultural lands?

Please join Peter Wold, Mick McMurry, Bart Rea, the Wyoming Community Foundation, and the Sonoran Institute for an engaging presentation and discussion on the problems and solutions of the cost of providing public services to rural housing developments.

Earlier this year the Sonoran Institute engaged RPI Consulting to examine the cost of providing public services to the BB Brooks Ranch and other rural private housing developments in Natrona County.

The study compares the costs and revenues associated with the three types of residential subdivision within Natrona County, Wyoming. Revenues are based upon sales taxes, property taxes, and other revenue sources generated by the development. Costs are based on expenses associated with building infrastructure (i.e., capital costs) and maintaining that infrastructure (i.e., operational costs).

We will present the study's results to Natrona County officials and citizens on September 4, 2012. You are cordially invited to attend either or both presentations:

Tuesday, Sept 4th, 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Natrona County Courthouse, Room #115

200 North Center, Casper, WY

or

Tuesday, Sept 4th 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Natrona County Public Library, Crawford Room

307 East 2nd Street, Casper, WY

See you on September 4, 2012.  Click below to let us know you are coming.
