December 6, 2010 WWW.SONORANINSTITUTE.ORG   Friends, As the New Year approaches, I am filled with both gratitude and relief:  Gratitude for the continued strong support from so many of you who value the importance of our conservation work.   Gratitude for our dedicated employees who passionately apply our unique collaborative approach to conservation to create lasting change in communities across the West. And, relief because 2010 has been such a challenging year for everyone, and it's almost over! Looking forward, the importance of our work is greater now than ever before. To continue our conservation efforts across the West, we need your support. This holiday season, I ask that you include a contribution to the Sonoran Institute in your gift-giving plans.  Your gift will make a difference today -- and for generations to come.    In 2010, we took on projects that are already reaping results: We're providing tools and resources to help communities cope with the housing bust.
