Tough Enough Needs You!
2008 Calendar Greetings Leader People,

The "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" 5k is March 28. It is to help Relay for Life.  We will have at least 300 runner/walkers now from at least 5 states and will be giving each of them a Wonderful-Weatherford gift bag.  So we are asking you for 350 of ANYTHING  you want our guests to  have, see, read, eat, drink, wear or think about from you and yours.

You may deliver items to Stafford 214 or my interns will happily pick up any and all items.  If you need pick up, please call 580-774-3767.  We will assemble the gift bags the weekend before the event, so we need your donations by March 20, 2009 if at all possible.  Anything goes, as long as there are 350 of them.

Also if you want to register for the race, please go to signmeup.com.

Thanks to our sponsors: Advanced Home Care Services, BancFirst, City of Weatherford,  Interbank, Sides Screenprinting, Wrangler, The Weatherford Hotel/Motel Tax Commission,  SWOSU Collegiate Activities Board, Greek Council, Men's Basketball Team, SGA, Zion Church, and the American Cancer Society.

2008 Calendar Even though the weather is cold, Spring is just around the corner and with it comes great weather, outdoor activities, and beautification efforts.  As you make your plans for Spring, consider adding a park bench to your outdoor beautification efforts.    The metal benches provide a great place for shoppers to sit and enjoy the weather!   The bench also features a medallion recognizing the business sponsoring the bench.

To order your park bench contact Linda in the City's Parks and Recreation Department, 774-2450, wfordparks@cityofweatherford.com .  Place your order before April 1.
