Greetings!
Can it be that 2008 is nearly half completed?! It's been a great year so far for your Chamber and its members.
The finishing touches are being put in place in the Chamber's new membership management computer program. The new program allows the Chamber to track membership activities for members' representatives and the member. The Chamber will soon be able to see with only a few key strokes, who serves on committees, which members are supporting activities and much more! Best of all, providing information to the public about Chamber members will be much easier! Stay tuned for more details!
Have a great week! |

| It's About Jobs |
Nearly every Oklahoma voter has a job, wants a job, or is retired from a job. Each of us has a vested interest in how the issues discussed during the 2008 elections affect Oklahoma's economy - and your company's bottom-line.
On June 26, 8:00 a.m. Kris Rush, Director of the Oklahoma Prosperity Project, will address elections in the workplace - what's legal, what works, and what's fun. Learn how you can help your employees make more informed decisions on Election Day on the issues affecting your company, their jobs, and Oklahoma's economic climate. The meeting will be at the Chamber of Commerce.
To RSVP you can call 772-7744 or email welcome@weatherfordchamber.com This year, more than 1,200 employers representing 450,000 employees are using the Oklahoma Prosperity Project's free, nonpartisan easy-to-use materials - breakroom posters, payroll stuffers, and other useful tools -- to encourage their employees to register to vote and go to the polls informed on economic issues before they go to the polls. The Prosperity Project is a free, nonpartisan election education program. It does not endorse candidates. It does not tell people how to vote. It is a project of The State Chamber. |
