| Support Our 4-H and FFA Livestock Exhibitors |
Over 150 exhibitors will participate in the Weatherford Area Livestock Show, set for February 9, is the first in a series of Chamber sponsored agriculture events. The show benefits the 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors. The Chamber's Agri-Business committee is contacting area businesses now for support. Total raised to date is $17,000.
Your one donation goes to support the Weatherford 4-H and FFA exhibitors at the Weatherford show, the Custer County Premium Show, and the April Weatherford Horse Show. To add your name to the list of supporters, call the Chamber office at 772-7744! |
| Events Needed |
As the Chamber's Tourism Committee makes plans for 2008, one critical need which has been noted is a Calendar of Events, highlighting those activities which would be of interest to the traveling public. If you are part of an organization which has an event or activity meeting this criteria please 1) email the chamber with the following information, name of event, date, time, location, ticket price, contact person with contact information, and a brief description and 2) go the Chamber's Web site calendar at www.weatherfordchamber.com and add the event to the calendar.
The Calendar of Events will be distributed at the Chamber office, locations in and around Weatherford, and at various travel shows and events, Weatherford will be attending. |
