is looking for Hospice Volunteers one hour each week at Mary Gran & Southwood Nursing Centers. Liberty has patients who would like to have someone come visit them. The Guardian Ad Litem Program of NC is a volunteer organization that represents abused and neglected children in court. Volunteers are court appointed child advocates from all cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds. They are in great need of volunteers. If you feel you could help children, please contact Patrick Giddeons at 910-296-2307 or patrick.l.giddeons@nccourts.org

is working to establish a list of volunteers to contact whenever volunteers are needed for mail-outs, office help (filing, etc.) If you are interested or know of someone that is retired that would be interested please contact the Chamber office by email or phone.

| | Jr. Leadership - Agriculture Day |
Junior Leadership
The 2010-2011 Junior Leadership Class spent April 12th learning about agriculture and the role it plays in Sampson County. They toured the Sampson County History Museum Ag Building, Prestage Farms Moltonville Feed Mill, Sampson Cotton Gin, Warren Farming Company, and Smithfield Clinton Plant. This was the final day for this Junior Leadership Class. They will receive their certificate of completion in May.
