The Sampson County History Museum, Inc. is in great need of volunteers. If you would be willing to donate your time, please contact David or Jeannie King at The Guardian Ad Litem Program of NC is a volunteer organization that represents abused and neglected children in court. Volunteers are court appointed child advocates from all cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds. They also are in great need of volunteers. If you feel you could help children, please contact Patrick Giddeons at Your help would be greatly appreciated. |

2010 Safety Awards Banquet
The N.C. Department of Labor and the Clinton Sampson Chamber of Commerce honored Sampson County area employers and employees at the agency's annual safety awards banquet in Clinton on Thursday, June 3. The awards honor outstanding on-the-job safety achievements of each company during 2009. Recipients are located in Clinton, Kenansville, Laurinburg, Rose Hill, Wallace, and Warsaw. Commissioner Cherie Berry spoke at the banquet and presented the awards.
