Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening
On Wednesday, June 11, 2008 we'll cut the ribbon for The Old Millstone Gallery in Salemburg. The Old Millstone Gallery retails art work and also sells on
consignment for local artists.
Collections include anything from paintings and handmade jewelry to
pottery and sculptures. Join us at 11:30 a.m. for the Ribbon Cutting, or show your support by stopping by later in the day for the Old Millstone Grand Opening. Owners Lila & Melanie Maxwell will be offering a 10% discount on all purchases. |

Clinton Sampson Rotary Club
The
Clinton Sampson Rotary Club is looking for area professionals to join
in the Group Study Exchange Team next spring! One team of five members
and a team leader will travel to Madagascar from April 10, 2009 to May
10, 2009. Another team will go to Spain (dates not confirmed but
expected in late spring). This is an all expense paid trip (including
airfare) in which members will stay with area Rotarian families or
possible in hotels. Participants get a true sense of the area, but it
is BUSY because in each town you visit you'll have the opportunity to
learn about local industry, healthcare, education, etc. It is a really
great change to interact with our world neighbors. Thirty days is a
long commitment, but if you or an employee can do it, you will have a
life changing experience. Just ask Della King at the Sampson County
Extension Service who traveled to South Africa a few years ago!
