Aludisc, LLC is a new aluminum slug & disc manufacturing facility, located at 520 E. Railroad Street in Clinton.  The plant is in the process of installing a state-of-the-art production line for an initial capacity of 15,000 tons of slugs per year.  The slugs will be used world-wide by aluminum container manufacturers that provide containers for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, glue, inks and beverages. 
Once Aludisc, LLC is in full production, it will have created 75 new jobs.  The production startup will be ready for its official inauguration by the end of 2008.

Small Businesses are invited to participate in the Government Purchase Cardholder (GPC) Trade Show. 

• Over 400 government purchase cardholders at Seymour Johnson AFB
• $45 million in purchases are projected
• Learn how to sell to Seymour Johnson AFB and other government agencies through GPC and GSA.  Also learn how to utilize MatchForce and the NC Military Business Center.

GSA Contract holders are encouraged to participate.  Trade Show attendees are limited to Government Cardholders and registered Trade Show Vendors.  The GPC Trade Show is not open to the public.
