| Professional Development Series Continues
| Handling Unacceptable Behavior in the Workplace
In March the Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Center began a three-part professional development seminar series devoted to management training. The course is part of the Brunch and Learn program which offers affordable training opportunities throughout the year. The last seminar in the series will be held on Wednesday, May 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The seminar is entitled "Handling Unacceptable Behavior in the Workplace." To register for this seminar, contact the Chamber office by phone at 910-592-6177 or by email to info@clintonsampsonchamber.org. Registrations will be accepted through Monday, May 12th. Unacceptable behavior in the workplace is expensive. It wastes management time, lowers morale and causes mistakes. However, there are effective, reasonable ways to handle behaviors that are problematic or simply annoying. In this seminar, you will learn ways to work with individuals who may be on their way to making substandard behavior a habit. Learn what causes unacceptable behavior, how to clearly community with the problem worker, how to turn the problem around, what to do if the problem continues and how to lower the likelihood of legal issues. $10 per attendee for Chamber members $15 per attendee for non-members
