Fletcher Prince Contributes to PR Washington Woman of the Year Event
Kathleen Matthews will be Keynote Speaker
Falls Church, VA - August 18, 2008 - Fletcher Prince (http://www.fletcherprince.com), a Falls Church, VA-based advertising and public relations firm, announced its sponsorship of Washington Women in Public Relations' 19th annual "Washington PR Woman of the Year Award." Fletcher Prince is the first sponsor to commit to the event this year.
Regarding the sponsorship, Fletcher Prince co-owner Mary Fletcher Jones stated, "The PR Woman of the Year sponsorship was too good a deal to pass up. We get to support a great cause while associating Fletcher Prince with excellence in public relations in a very visible way." Ms. Jones is also a volunteer co-chair for the event.

 Since 1990, Washington Women in Public Relations
(www.WWPR.org) has honored the most talented local women in the public
relations field. This year's awards luncheon will take place on
Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Mayflower Hotel from 12 Noon to 2 p.m.
Former WJLA 7 News Anchor Kathleeen Matthews (now Executive Vice President, Global Communications and Public Affairs, Marriott International, Inc.) will appear as the keynote speaker at the awards luncheon.
Tickets
range from $50 to $80, with discounts for students, WWPR members, and
early registration. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be
donated to WWPR's pro bono client, Doorways for Women and Families, Arlington's only shelter for abused, homeless and at-risk women and their families. |
