hanoverkidsIrv Moxley, pastor of the Covenant Parish of Fairmoor and Shady Lane Presbyterian Churches in Columbus, enjoyed a delightful gathering of family, friends and colleagues on the evening of June 6 at the Franklin Park Conservatory. It was a joyous evening with words of gratitude, celebrative music and pleasant stories in celebration of Irv's 50 years of faithful service as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Congratulations Irv!

Hilliard Presbyterian Church Celebrates 50 Years 
The 50th Anniversary of Hilliard Presbyterian Church will be celebrated with a Homecoming Celebration this Sunday, June 13th at both the 8:30 and 11 am worship services. The Reverend Janice Hilkerbaumer, former interim pastor, will be the guest preacher. Everyone is invited to join in the celebration!
Bainbridge Presbyterian Church Holds Final Worship Service on Sunday, June 6, 2010
A service of celebration and closure was held at the Bainbridge Presbyterian Church on Sunday, June 6. Stories were shared about the history and ministries, and words of gratitude and thanks were offered for the presence of Bainbridge Presbyterian Church in this small town over the years. 
Church equipment and furnishings will be available free for use by any other churches. The church building will be open on Saturday, June 26, 10 am-2pm for persons to come and collect any items usable in their congregations. Items such as pews, hymnbooks, pulpit, book cases, sound system, etc. will be available. For further information, or questions, email: dana@psvonline.org.
 
Electric Organ Looking for a Church Home...
A Gulbransen Rialto Model K electric organ with two 61-note manuals and a 25-note pedalboard with a theater console is being offered as a donation to a church or non-profit organization by Ellen Gow, a member at Broad St. Presbyterian Church. To see the organ, or a photo of it, please contact George Gow at 614-313-0795, or email: gows@wowway.com.
Glass Communion Cups Available
First Presbyterian Church, Athens, has a surplus of glass communion cups available at no cost to any church that might be able to use them.  There are 470 short  (1 ¼" high by 1 3/16" diameter @ top) cups and 644 tall (1 ½" high by 1 3/16 diameter @ top) glass cups.
