John Hamlin, born November 9, 1915 in Iron River, Michigan, died on May 22, 2010 in Waverly, Ohio. John, the Parish Associate at First Presbyterian Church in Waverly, has served as a pastor in New York, a chaplain with the U.S. Army, a missionary in China, and has taught in Theological Schools in Thailand and Singapore. Information about a celebration of John's life and ministries will be available soon. |

The Presbytery Peacemaking and Justice Committee invites you to come to the Pre-Presbytery Meeting on June 15 at 1 p.m. to hear and learn about the curriculum "Steadfast Hope", published by the Israel/Palestine Mission Network of the PC(USA). The Reverend Jeff DeYoe, Pastor of Worthington Presbyterian Church, will lead the discusssion and share insights from teaching this class. |
