| Congratulations to Ramseyer Presbyterian Church! | |
Scioto Valley's Ramseyer Presbyterian Church, under the leadership of Pastor Andrew Aboagye, is one of four PC(USA) new church developments who have been named winners of the 2010 Sam and Helen Walton Awards. Each of these four congregations will receive $50,000 for their outstanding work in creatively "Growing Christ's Church Deep and Wide" in their local communities. Ramseyer, the first African immigrant new church development in the Presbytery of Scioto Valley, has made significant progress in spirituality, membership, and financial stewardship. Through its own capital campaign, Ramseyer PC recently paid off its 14-acre site in east Columbus. The Walton Award will now enable them to prepare the land for construction. |
