PSV's Eighth Annual Spring Fest Called Spectacular!
This year's Spring Fest Conference was described as "spectacular" and the "best ever" by Scioto Valley Presbyterians from 45 of our congregations. They ran through the pouring rain to attend Saturday's Spring Fest Conference and found excellent and informing workshops, amazing and inspiring worship, delicious food and warm fellowship. A special thanks goes to the Spring Fest planning team members who dreamed of and brought inspiring and expert speakers, preachers and leaders to our presbytery for this event. Thanks to Don Coleman, Chairperson of the Spring Fest Planning Team, Collin Adams, Barb Blanke, Katie Kinnison, Mark and Ginny Shanda, Joyce Smith, and Betty Lou Stull, Planning Team members; PSV Worship Committee members, Bill Leety, Janice Hilkerbaumer, Richard Glass, Joyce Smith, Linda McClanahan, and Debbie Lewicki, who spent many hours planning this year's event! In addition we offer our gratitude to the parking lot attendants and greeters, Collin Adams, Ralph LeVan, Don Hilkerbaumer and Rudy Smith, who braved the rain to greet and provide free parking passes to the Spring Fest attendees. Thanks to our friendly registration team of Joyce Smith, Barb Blanke, Betty Kennedy and Carla Mavis, who welcomed everyone! We are all especially grateful to our talented musicians, Steve Banks, Randy Warner and the Ramseyer Praise Band who graced us with joyous music! Thanks to Professor Mark Shanda and his faithful assistant, Ginny Shanda, whose hospitality and expertise made everything possible and appear easy! So many more people to thank....the worship volunteers and each of you who gave up your Saturday to connect with and learn from your Presbyterian brothers and sisters near and far! Thanks...thanks....thanks!!!
What will next year's Spring Fest Conference look like? Let me know if you want to be part of the next Spring Fest Conference planning team. Email: jeannie@psvonline.org.
