Fey Handmade is an artist/artisan collective offering a wide selection of jewelry, clothing, accessories, housewares, gifts, and more.  The company is based in Ashbury Park, New Jersey, but the artists are located all over the United States.

Babooshka is a fashion designer in Pittsburg who creates totally modern, thoroughly wearable, slightly off-beat dresses, skirts, shirts, and scarves that can motivate jeans into formal wear.

William Dohman is a designer/photographer in St. Paul, Minnesota, who has an unusual shop offering wooden signage for wall decor, wooden blocks for children (of any age), stunning photographs from his travels, and more.

Karen and Rhiannon are Twink Beauty.  Together they create handmade soaps, lotions, cosmetics, and make-up.  They even create cake mascara (lash paint), another one of those "old timey" products that was way better than its modern replacement.

 

Emil Congdon is an upholsterer in Nashville, Tennessee.  East Nashville Upholstery is his creative outlet for various styles of saddle sturdy leather bags and wallets.

Retro Repro, in Italy, creates felt hats that are fashionable, functional, and just plain fun.  They somehow manage to combine a dramatic sensibility with a bit of modesty, and the colors are statements in and of themselves.

Afton River, in Corvallis, Oregon, creates artistically designed clothing with a sculptural but feminine quality.  She will also create custom designs to your specifications.

1000 Markets is an artist/artisan collective.  As their name suggests, 1000 Markets artists are able to form and join theme-based "markets" (e.g., around offerings for specific purposes such as weddings, or around members bound by common characteristics such as geographic location).  But you can find things using the usual category listings too.

Scabby Robot is the pseudonym of a San Francisco designer/handcrafter of purses, wallets, tote bags, and bookbags.  She works primarily in leather, denim, and combinations of the two, in a style that is very west coast hip. 

Artworks Jewelry, in Portland, is a collective of jewelry designers working in a multitude of styles and various materials.  The common denominator is high quality throughout.  They also have a beautiful collection of handbags and wallets.

Joseph Spinale and his wife Ellen create 18th and 19th century style reproduction furniture, primarily Early American Primative.  They are sticklers for accuracy, right down to dovetailed drawers, hand planing, and (sometimes) reproduction hardware.
