Greetings!

 

Most of us are freezing our cabooses off right now.  Actually, Memphis warmed up a bit today and we enjoyed a sunny 53 degrees.  But most of last week we had daytime temperatures in the mid-20s to low-30s and nights dropped into the low- to mid-teens.

 

Oh, I know Southern California is struggling with its hemisphere identity issues and acting out a heat wave, but I know how that'll turn out.  Los Angeles is my birthplace and where I lived the first three quarters of my life.  By the time February rolls around, folks there will be shivering and blowing frost rings at noon.
