Huge File Size Frustrating You? |
|
Have you ever had a huge pdf file that you wanted to send, but it was just too big to get through your email system? Or maybe it gets through your email but can't be received on the other end?
Well there is a solution and it's the best kind....FREE. You can send a file up to 100 mg using a service like www.transferbigfiles.com for free, but if you have PrimoPDF (also free at www.primopdf.com) you can shrink the size of a file while saving it as a pdf file.
Once you have installed PrimoPDF, it acts like an extra printer. Here are the steps:
1. Click the print icon from any program and then select PrimoPDF. 2. On the PrimoPDF dialog that pops up, select the eBooks option.
3. Click OK.
The file is now saved as a PDF file in the location you selected and at a reduced size from what it was previously. If it doesn't reduce enough to get through email, then use www.transferbigfiles.com.

Spam Or Not Spam? You Decide |
|
Frustrated by spam? Ever wonder why an e-mail you actually need goes to your spam folder while a nice ad for something very personal goes to your inbox?
You can keep your e-mails coming into your Outlook inbox the way they should using the Outlook Safe Sender list.
This feature allows you to mark certain contacts as "safe". It does this for you automatically based on how much you e-mail certain people. This is turned off by default, but by using the following steps, you can turn it back on.
1. Go to your Inbox in Outlook. If you are using Outlook 2010, click File > Junk > Junk E-mail Options. (For other versions of Outlook, click Actions - Junk Email - Junk Email Options.)
2. Click the Safe Senders tab.
3. Check the checkbox "Automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders List".
4. Click OK.
This should save you some time and frustration. |
