With gas prices climbing above $3.50 a gallon, it's getting very expensive to drive. Here we have a few tips from NTTA to help us all save gas this summer.
Drive sensibly - Right, on Texas highways?
Observer speed limits - the posted ones or the actual ones?
Remove excess weight - no, your mother-in-law doesn't count as excess weight.
Idle as little as possible - I hope this doesn't include being idle at the office?
Use your cruise control - I use this on the streets of Plano more than on the highway to help avoid speeding.
Avoid peak rush hour - or better yet, lease an office close to your house and never have a rush hour again.
Okay, so I editorialized a bit. Don't go all "road rage" on me about it.
