Okay, not all of them. But what about those that are costing you more than the revenue they generate? The recovery is coming and customers will be ready to buy again. However, will more clients mean more money or just more work?
Jeff Schmitt in a recent Bloomberg Business Week article suggests that if you are selective about which clients you take, what kind of work you take, and whether or not you are truly able to deliver, you can align your structure and expenses to handle the recovery and make money. This article has 8 questions to ask that will help you evaluate which clients should stay and which should be fired.
Be nice about it, but fire them if these 8 questions fit.
