What's Your Excuse - Video
Have you ever noticed that we can get very creative with the "reasons" why we can't do something that we just don't want to do? I'm really good at that. I can even fake myself out pretending that it's a good reason and not what it really is - an excuse. So this month's trivia question is good for a $25.00 Brinker restaurant gift card. You'll have to watch the latest video on our Facebook Fan Page to get the answer. Here it is: What is the last excuse given by the guy in the video? The winner will be drawn from among all the correct answers submitted by June 1 which also include a referral to a business owner or top manager whose company leases office space in Plano or Frisco. Good luck. Last month's question was, What is the Tyranny of the Majority? Maco Amoyo was our winner with his answer:
"Tyranny of the Majority is when the majority has the power to legislate and bring into law things that will be paid for by the minority, ie. our healthcare system. Ciscero 55 BC." Congratulations, Maco. Enjoy Brinker. |
| Do You Have a Plan "B"? |

BP didn't have a plan "B". Just when it's needed the most, they have no tricks up their sleeves....okay, they have tricks, but no solutions.
So what's your plan B. Fires, floods, tornadoes - these are the things we often connect with contingency planning. But what if your main supplier suddenly goes bankrupt? Or, what if your office building gets blown over by a tornado as happened with one our clients last year? Or, the Texas Department of Transportation decides to expand the road and needs part of your building as happened to another client?
These things can all cause confusion and disorder if you haven't prepared for them properly. Contingency planning is a key part of this preparation. To help with your contingency planning, you might want to check out this article from MindTools.com.
