Greetings!
For Whom The [School] Bell Tolls? It tolls for thee!! Congratulations, you made it through another summer. Just think, in a few weeks, the kiddos will be back in the classroom and you will be settling back into a normal routine. Phew! Better enjoy these last lazy days of the season while you still can. August Beers: Sunny Brews
With the heat index soaring, its time to cool off with a beer that is both light and delicious. To celebrate the last vestiges of the balmy hot season, B3 has these great summer brews to brighten your day:
Cigar City Cucumber Saison, FL - The humble gherkin. Usually we encounter this unassuming green fruit pickled or sliced and flung atop a salad. But the cucumber has so much more to offer us. It is a remarkably refreshing gourd with the power to cool a dry tongue and when just two sliced wheels are placed atop the eyes of a lounging lass in a stock photo ad for a spa, the mythical cucumber has the magical ability to justify obscene spa service fees. We chose to employ the cucumber in a low gravity Saison to create a refreshing seasonal ale redolent with notes of honey, tropical fruit, lemon bitterness, and of course cucumbers. Brewed as a survival tool for the Florida Summer this cucumber creation features Citra and Sorachi Ace hops. So put some cucumber wheels on your eyes, lean back, relax and enjoy. Ahhhhhhh.
 Mendocino Seasonal Summer Blonde Ale, CA - Blonde Ale is brewed with the finest 2-row, carapils, and wheat malts, perfectly balanced with fragrant Cascade and Saaz hops. Pale gold in color with a clean, crisp flavor, this beer has floral and spicy hop notes with a subtle malt sweetness in the finish. Light-bodied and refreshing.
Anderson Valley Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale, CA - Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is not just your average summer seasonal. L. Tramier & Fils, Cotes du Rhone, Linteau, France - 70% grenache, 30% syrah, a beautiful wine of the Rhône Valley. It has a brilliant garnet-red colour. It is well-balanced with a fruity nose. Powerful in mouth with spicy aromas and a long finish.

B3 Game Night

Salad - Spinach, topped with fresh blueberries & peaches, almonds and blue cheese crumbles. Tossed in our tangy poppyseed dressing.
Soup - Broccoli cheddar. The ideal end of summer soup ... hearty without feeling too heavy (vegetarian).
Summer Veggie Sandwich - Toasted ciabatta bread with melted mozzarella, cheddar and parmesan cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, black olives, red onions and yellow mustard plus our own secret sauce. Add ham and salami for $0.99 if you'd like. |

For most of us bicycles are recreational equipment, but for some people a bicycle can be a means for survival. A bicycle can mean the difference between having a job or not, being able to attend school or not, manage to get to a doctor's appointment or not. Wheels4Life is a non-profit organization that provides bikes to people in developing countries who need a consistent form of transportation to get to work or school, including health care workers. James Copeland Band James Copeland is a songwriter from Mobile, AL. Aged 29, born into a family of musicians dating back to the 1850's, He started writing poetry and short stories about youth, the south and beyond in his early school years. That inspiration, combined with a family band, later evolved into a heartfelt and insightful brand of lyrical content and melodic instrumentation. Paired in 2009 with fellow singer-songwriter, cello player and pianist Skylar Gail they created The James Copeland Band. Together they blend relaxed southern upbringing with contemporary and creatively altered instrument tones for a unique genre of shoe-gaze country.
