Okay, so we know you all feel more emotionally secure when we package our monthly beer selections in safe, relatable "themes". But sometimes, great beer just can't be labeled (well, metaphorically speaking, because of course, they, er, have actual labels). Why can't you just let a great beer BE, people?! Don't theme it! Don't try to "define" it. Just drink up and let random awesomeness BE random awesomeness. Here are the miscellaneously spectacular brews we're bringing your way for September ... just because!  

Shipyard Pumpkin Head Ale, Maine - This tasty world famous Autumn ale delivers crisp, refreshing wheat ale with delightful aromatics and subtle spiced flavors. Hints of nutmeg and Cinnamon make this limited release brew a flavor sensation.  4.5% ABV. 
 
Pacifico Clara, Mexico -  Made from the choicest hops, barley, yeast and water from the freshest springs in Mazaltan, this clean and hearty flavor makes Pacifico an exceptionally drinkable lager that's compatible with all types of food. 4.4% ABV

Magic Hat Ale #9 Not Quite Pale Ale, Vermont - An ale cloaked in secrecy, whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. Number 9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it.  Taste starts out sweet with fruit notes (apricot) and then turns slightly bitter with a taste of floral hops. 5.1% ABV 
 

Estrella Damm Pilsner, Spain- Watch the Vuelta Espana, drink some Estrella (it rhymes!) Estrella Damm is a wonderful Spanish pilsner. It has been brewed in Barcelona since 1876 and is the flagship beer of S.A. Damm, a prominent Barcelona brewery. "Estrella" means "Star" in both Spanish and Catalan. 5.5% ABV

We will also be adding to the randomness with Red Stripe Lager, Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA and Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout.
