It's Tour de France Time!
Greetings!
The heat is on this July, here in Orlando and in the racing world: it's Tour de France time! This 23-day, 2,200 mile, 21 day stage race is the event professional riders spend their entire cycling season preparing for. Millions of spectators will line the streets of France to cheer on their cycling heroes. Come cheer on your favorites at B3! We'll have live coverage of Viva Le Tour (a.k.a. Lance Armstrong's great comeback, Part 2) beginning on July 3rd at 11:30 AM and continuing on through July 25th. We will broadcast Tour coverage all day (with live coverage every morning). To make help make watching even more fun we've got some great beer, wine, and menu options for you.
For all you soccer enthusiasts, we'll be showing the World Cup live when it does not conflict with the Tour de France coverage.

We've also got a really fun B Creative Art Exhibit planned for you...read below for the details. |

July Beers: Feeling Patriotic Nothing beats the summer heat like a nice cold beer. In honor of our nation's independence, we're serving up one of the best craft beers from the heartland of our founders, Boston, Massachusetts. The Boston Beer Company is America's leading brewer of handcrafted, full-flavored beers. Founder and Brewer, Jim Koch, brews Samuel Adams Beers using the time-honored, traditional four-vessel brewing process, and the world's finest all-natural ingredients. With 18 distinctive, award-winning styles of beer, Samuel Adams offers discerning beer drinkers a variety of brews. The brewery has won more awards in International beer-tasting competitions in the last five years than any other brewery in the world.
Samuel Adams Boston Lager - This beer uses only the finest ingredients, including two-row malted barley and Bavarian Noble hops. The sole use of two-row barley not only imparts a full, smooth body but also gives the beer a wide spectrum of malt flavor ranging from slightly sweet to roasted. The Noble hop varieties of Hallertau Mittelfrueh and Tettnang Tettnanger add a wide range of floral, piney and citrus notes, which are present from the aroma, through the taste, and all the way to the lingering smooth finish. 4.9% ABV
Samuel Adams Light - You asked for it, so here it is: our first craft light beer! Sam Adams Light is not just a lighter version of Samuel Adams Boston Lager but rather the culmination of over two years of tireless research and brewing trials that proved to be worth the wait. Brewed using only the finest two-row malt and Bavarian Noble hops it has a smooth, complex, roasted malt character that is superbly balanced with the subtle fruity notes of the Noble hops. Sam Adams Light has a crisp and smooth finish without any lingering bitterness, leaving you yearning for that next sip. 4.1% ABV We'll also be serving several other brews by Samuel Adams including, Summer Ale, Boston Ale and their Cream Stout. |
| Wines: French Wine & Spanish Sangria

Very fresh on the palate with a long aromatic finish. 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Carignon. Barton & Guestier, Bistro Pinot Noir, Corsica, FranceThis generous Pinot Noir has a supple body and lively acidity. Medium tannins knit together fresh flavors and earthy undertones for a well-balanced wine with a lingering finish. Chateau Greysac '04, Medoc, FranceA beautiful medium bodied left-bank Bordeaux loaded with red fruits with mild tannins upon release. 50% Cabernet, 38% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. Domaine de Longval Tavel Rose, Rhone Valley, FranceThe most famous French rosé, Tavel epitomizes the relaxed, cheery gracefulness of the Rhône and southern France. The bright pink hue has always been Tavel Longval's calling card. In addition to its visual appeal, this 100% Grenache Rose' offers suprisingly rich but crisp and dry flavors - a veritable basket of ripe summer fruit. Want less French and more Flamenco? Try our highly addictive B3 Sangria (white or red) served over fresh fruit and ice: White Sangria: a delicious blend made with white wine with a prominent citrus aroma; tangy and sweet tropical flavors with passion fruit; and light cinnamon spice. Red Sangria: this red blend has a distinctly spiced cherry fruity aroma; a blend of cherry, lemon, orange and lime; and a smidge of cinnamon spice. |

We're feeling the July 4th patriotic pride this month and our seasonal drinks and treats are, too.
Waffle: You'll be seeing happy stars and stripes when you munch down on our B3 Red, White, and Blue Waffle: our standard tasty fabulous waffle topped with strawberries, blueberries and bananas. True, bananas aren't "white", per se. But whipped cream sure is (optional)! Latte: Want to sip your liberty rather than munch it? Give our Red, White and Blue Latte a try: raspberry syrup, blueberry syrup, and white chocolate blended with espresso. This can be served hot or over ice, caffeinated or decaffeinated. reThink Your Commute
reThink is a program sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation. They promoting alternative modes of transportation as a way to decrease congestion, improve air quality, conserve natural resources, and save you money. They focus on the commute trip, working with employers and individuals to find better ways to get to work, like carpooling, riding the bus, or (of course) riding your bike! One of the services they offer is an Emergency Ride Home Reimbursement Program. If you ride your bike to work at least two times a week and register with the reThink program, if you ever have to take a cab or get a ride home due to an emergency, they will reimburse the cost of the cab trip or the cost of mileage. They are also looking for other ways to incentivize commuters to commit to alternative modes. Their website - will be fully launched on Monday, July 12, and they hope that Central Floridians will use it as a resource to find a better way to get to work. ________________________________ |
