Love is in the Air!
Greetings!
Happy February, everyone. Love in the air! So, we've cooked up a few special things this month to show you how much we care. (Awww, cause we DO!) We've added The Healthy Cuban Sandwich and our delectable B3 Belgian Waffle to our permanent menu (just because you love them so much). And because true love means spending quality time together, we'll be showing the Winter Olympics on the flat screen Friday, February 12th - Sunday, February 28th! So come in and stay as long as you like. We'll even have fun Olympics-themed treats in the bakery case to make our hang time extra sweet! ...Much love, everyone. Much love! |

February Beers: What an Arrogant Bastard!
We sure do hate to brag...but whatever, we're going to anyway! This month's Craft/Micro-Brew beer lineup is, by far, one of the BEST we've had since we opened. Think we're kidding? Come sample our picks for yourself. Just be prepared (when you realize we're right) to high-five us for our awesomeness! First up, a little something the ladies love: Orange Blossom Pilsner. Don't worry fellas, we won't deprive you of this tastiness either. A real man can admit he likes flavored beer! Next, we're featuring three crowd-pleasing brews from the award-winning Atlanta Brewing Company (the oldest operational craft brewery in the state of Georgia). We're pouring their Blonde Ale, Laughing Skull Amber and the Oatmeal Porter. Last but not least, it's probably the most aggressive beer we've served yet: the Arrogant Bastard Ale. Of course, Stone Brewing

Co. doesn't think you are cool or worthy enough to drink it (read their brew description here ) but WE think you can handle it. Fair warning though, this IS our first 22oz beer (twice the normal size) so pace yourself, friends. That's a lot of bastard for one bottle! Note: we will also have Stone Brewing Co.'s Rogue Dead Guy Ale on deck this month, a popular brew amongst the hard core craft beer drinkers. |
February Wines: Jade Mountain Winery
A pioneer in the production of Rhône-style California wines, Jade Mountain was founded in 1988. They hold the belief that carefully chosen California vineyard sites planted to Rhône grape varieties can achieve quality on a par with the best from France and Australia. Sample a few pours from this month's selection and see if you agree. Jade Mountain White Blend A unique, multidimensional, multisensory blend of white grapes offering layer upon layer of aromas, textures and flavors. Look for inviting aromas of lemon-lime, tropical fruits, subtle white rose and orange blossom, with hints of butter, nutmeg and allspice. The generous palate offers mouth-filling creaminess and boasts flavors of lemon curd, crisp green apple and other orchard fruits laced with light caramel and butter toffee notes. The finish is crisp, clean and delish!
La Provencale (Red Blend) Inspired by the easygoing lifestyle of the South of France, this wine blends lassic varietals such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignane to produce the juicy, dark fruit character of plum and blackberry, with hints of raspberry sauce, chocolate, saffron and smoke. Bright acidity and supple tannins make this wine a chef's delight - the perfect complement to a variety of B3 dishes.
Jade Mountain Merlot This densely packed merlot has heady aromas of ripe fruit laced with exotic spices. Flavors of rich dark cherry and plum intermingle with caramel notes and hints of Asian spice and cinnamon. The texture is rich and generous, with firm but approachable tannins resulting in a well structured, harmonious wine. . SPECIAL THIS MONTH: JADE MOUNTAIN WINERY TOUR |
$10 Tour: Not sure which wine to try? Take a tour first and then decide. Try a 2 oz. sample of each of the 3 featured wines and then pick your favorite and order a full glass! |

Live Music (Free)
Friday, February January 19th 7:30 PM
The Blue Hit (from Austin, TX)
Palm pilots at the ready gang, this is a band you do NOT want to miss. With amazingly simple yet soulful music (only a cello and guitar) paired with a spine-tingling, almost haunting female voice and poetic lyrics, this band is going to captivate you. They describe their sound as progressive folk meets eclectic pop with a little bit of easy listening. We'd describe it as very cool indie-film soundtrack sounding. Check out their site for a preview.
Saturday, February 20th 7:30 PM
Dennis, Jeff and Bari We just can't get enough of this great live acoustic trio, especially because their set covers the musical spectrum: gospel, country, folk, funk and pop with an emphasis on harmony and a unique blend of instruments including guitar, bass guitar, slide guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordion, bongos, cajon (a wooden box drum), African drum and a variety of other percussion instruments. That's why we're super pleased to have Dennis, Jeff and Bari back for another live performance. You don't want to miss them. Get here early for a great seat. | |
