It's Beautiful Outside!
Greetings!
Fall has officially arrived, bringing cooler nights, football season (we'll be showing the UCF games live!), and all of those hearty foods and flavors that we can't help but love. We've certainly been enjoying the break in the weather. How about you?! It sure is a great time to be outside, so swing by B3 for a visit. Sample one of our new seasonal drinks while you snack outside, basking in the warm sun and cool breeze of the new season. After all, this is the time of year when life in Orlando gets really, really good!
Kids of all ages, swing by B3 at any time on Halloween, day or night, to show off your Halloween finery and we'll reward you with a tasty treat. Bring your pet by in costume and we'll even have a yummy treat on hand for them, as well. |

| Sparkling Wine and Champagne-tinis!
Champagne is a wine for all seasons, and is one of the most versatile wines with food. This month we are featuring a wonderful sparkling wine from Chandon. Their Napa Valley estate is firmly grounded in the traditional French sparkling  winemaking practices established centuries ago by their French Champagne house founders. But they also employ the latest sustainable farming practices and let their vineyards' exceptional regional character lead the way in creating distinctive, handcrafted sparkling and still wines. This blend of history and ingenuity is what makes Chandon wines truly sparkle.
Try something new, a Chandon Rose Pomegranate Sparkler or Lady Bleu Sparkler. A decadent treat you are sure to love! We combine Stirrings all natural Pomegranate or Blueberry martini mix with our fabulous Chandon Sparkling wine. | October Beers: Halloween's a Brewin'!
We kicked off our autumn beer selection last month with the world famous Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale. This crisp, refreshing wheat ale, with delightful aromatics and subtle spiced flavors with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon, was a HUGE hit so we'll be keeping it around for another month. (You're welcome!) We've also added a broad range of Oktoberfest beers this month that are sure to delight. First up, Lefthand Brewing Oktoberfest (Colorado), a well-balanced beer with the up front sweetness of German malt and a dry, medium-bodied finish  thanks to its noble pedigree hops. From New England, try either the Thomas Hooker Oktoberfest (Connecticut) a rich, satisfying, and award-winning Bavarian-style Octoberfest, born from a special blend of imported German malts that create a full-bodied brew and stresses a malty flavor and lingering aroma, or give the Harpoon Octoberfest (Massachusetts) a sip. It's a smooth, malty, full-bodied beer with Willamette hops that provide a gentle bitterness and balance any residual sweetness present from the malt. Lastly, check out the Warsteiner Oktoberfest (Germany), an amber beer with a full-bodied flavor that combines a nice balance of hops and rich maltiness for a smooth festive taste experience. Movie Night at B3!
Featuring: "American Flyers!"

That's right we are bringing it back, the very first movie B3 ever showed! You don't want to miss it this time. Come see the movie that almost put bike racing on the map here in the US.  "American Flyers" focuses on the Sommers brothers, Marcus (Kevin Costner) and David (David Grant). The brothers grew up sharing a love for bikes and bike racing. After their father died from a cerebral aneurysm, Marcus left their St. Louis home and moved to Wisconsin to actively pursue a career in sports medicine, leaving David and their mother alone. Six months later, Marcus returns home and invites David to join him in a bike race through the Rockies called, "The Hell of the West." David agrees, and they are joined by Marcus' girlfriend Sarah (Rae Dawn Chong) and a plucky hitchhiker played by Alexandra Paul. As the drama and tension of the grueling race mounts, it begins to become obvious that one of the brothers has inherited the medical condition that killed their father. While going through the training and racing together, each of them begins to fear the ailment might strike. Will they be able to live long enough to finish the race? Better come and find out! If you haven't heard yet, the B3 Cycling Kit design is finalized! They were created by our very talented friend and local artist/designer, Rustin Robinson. An order form is available by the corresponding thumbnails on our website. Pre-orders need to be paid in full at the Cafe by October 16th. Got Karma?: B3 supports Rising Lotus Children's Village

Sometimes supporting "community" means remembering our larger global community as well. That's why, this month, B3 is ecstatic to be supporting Rising Lotus Children's Village and their Second Annual "Got Karma" Golf Tournament & Silent Auction. Rising Lotus is a nonprofit charity providing a home and top-notch education to orphan children in Nepal. The organization is founded by Orlando-local and great B3 buddy, Tracy Brandt. In addition to our donations to the event, we're encouraging all of our golfing patrons (and we know there are a ton of you out there) to score on the green while scoring some extra Karma points by signing up to golf in this sure-to-be-a-great-time event. | October Wines: The Blends
We thought we would literally "mix things up" this month, so we are serving some outstanding red wine blends that are sure to please.
Snap Dragon Red Blend, Sonoma, California
This Zinfandel based blend shows hints of toffee and rich flavors of blackberry and plum. 65% Zinfandel, 20% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Sterling Meritage, Sonoma, Claifornia
Rhymes with "heritage". The American way of labeling a Bordeaux style blend. Big flavors of blackberry jam, black cherry and chocolate with a spicy finish. 52% Cabernet, 44% Merlot, 3% Malbec, 1% Petite Verdot.
A by Acacia Red Blend, Claifornia
This Syrah based Rhone-style blend is well balanced and layered with flavors of cherry and ripe plum with velvety tannins. 90% Syrah, 5% Grenache, 4% Mourvedre, 1% Viognier.
Don't forget: we're also serving pitchers of B3's wildly popular red wine sangria, served with fresh fruit. | |

Seasonal Soup, Salad, Sandwich & Flatbread
We thought a Butternut Squash soup would be the perfect way to welcome cooler weather. This vegetarian soup is made with a delicate blend of tender butternut squash and rich cream combined with mirepoix vegetables and a touch of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Our new seasonal salad is made of fresh field greens topped with green apple slices, walnuts, goat cheese and dried cranberries. Balsamic dressing is served on the side.
Our new seasonal sandwich, the Portabello Mushroom panini, is sure to warm up your tummy and put a smile on your face! We marinate portabello mushrooms, then top them with asiago cheese, red onions and vine ripe tomatoes on ciabatta bread and press it until warm and melty.
Just for the month of October, we are excited to bring you the Blue Cheese and Bacon flatbread! We also top it with ham and fresh mozzarella cheese, then bake 'til bubbly!

Pumpkin Spice, Caramel Apple Lattes and New Gelato Flavors
Nothing says Fall better than Pumpkin Spice and Caramel Apple! Whether you are craving a hot or cold, caffeinated or decaffeinated latte, let us whip up one of these delicious concoctions for you.
Also just in time for the festivities of Fall, our friends at Muse have released their Pumpkin gelato. This was the first flavor of theirs we tried, and immediately fell in love at first bite. We'll also be serving a decadent chocolate gelato this month, too!

Food Drive for our Four-legged Friends and for our Two-legged Friends
For the first half of this month we'll be providing a drop point for a pet food drive to support Wishbone. Animal Companion Pet Sitting Service,and Warm Hearts and Cold Noses, are co-sponsoring a local pet food and supply drive as part of a national initiative - Wishbones for Pets.
